Audi Rs7 717PS 1041NM

The RS7 is designed to offer the performance and capabilities of the Rs6 Avant in a more desirable coupé-looking body style. Audi has created a four door, four-seat hatchback with a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8, eight-speed automatic transmission and permanent all-wheel drive.Performance-wise we call it a wonder.

In stock form this audi Rs7 comes with the following power figures :

Engine: 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo petrol

Power: 412kW(560ps) at 5700-6600rpm

Torque: 700Nm at 1750-5500rpm

Apart from the software in this particular car we removed the first set of catalytic converters and left only the secondary in the original exhaust system in order to allow more flow for our stage 2 custom remap. The following diagram is showing the difference between stock and tuned ecu without any gearbox modifications.

The stock torque and horsepower was more than advertised but that is normal on all new tfsi engines however the momentary torque figure was at  800nm with a totally  stock car.

Yes the engine can take it and not only the engine but everything else in this rs7 is over-engineered and can hold even more power than that. 717ps and 1041 nm came out of this v8 4.0l tfsi easily with flat torque and horsepower curves all over the power-band.

Time wise this monster became a lot faster and not only on the papers but on the street too. Here are some V-Box times for our stage 2 catless RS7

Well VMax was more but street was going to an end ….
